3 Places - Oh just running away...

This is the Japanese Plum Tree that sits at the side of the house I grew up in. Whenever I told my mom I was running away, I would just climb up this tree and wait till someone came and got me.

In Junior High, I was really dramatic. Now when I told my mom I was running away, I would run to my old elementary school and hide at the top of slide till it got dark. Then I would get scared and run home.
I needed to run away a lot in high school. Run away from drama, school, boys, and work. So I hiked to this bench, even in the snow, and sat for hours, watching the city and thinking.

Final Proposal

For my final project, I had no idea what to do. I ended up asking random people for ideas and I happened to ask one my hometown neighbors. He gave me the idea to photograph Bountiful Main Street. He is deeply involved in the city's history and is collecting old photographs of the city's beginning. So I decided to document and compare how Bountiful Main Street has changed historically. There is so much history just on that one street and, as my neighbor suggested, it is important to document history as it changes.
